Unimog U500
Our Unimog U500 is a tree surgeons dream piece of equipment. Designed and built to cater to our exact needs, custom fabricated as our flagship vehicle for roadside tree work and telecoms infrastructure clearance. Capable of transporting a crew of three, tools, wood chipper, access platform and waste removal facilities to site in just one vehicle. This provides efficiency and cost environmental savings. These vehicles have impressive off road capabilities. Invaluable to us in day to day works from standard to specialist jobs.
Equipped with an unrestricted self levelling 19M M.E.W.P with 13M horizontal outreach 180 degree fly jib and continuous 360 rotation make it incredibly manoeuvrable among trees. the trucks self inflating tyre system and 4WD with diff locks, we can comfortably and precisely reach trees whether they are roadside, off-road or even behind obstacles like garages and gardens.
Mounted on the front of the machine is a 10 inch wood chipper with plenty of horsepower behind it chipping waste quickly with minimal run time and processing. Waste heads straight into the large enclosed chip box behind, helping to keep things clean and tidy. this 1 of a kind machine dose the job of 2 hgv’s and a large road tow chipper in one powered buy a single 240hp euro 5 power plant equating to a considerable reduction in emissions.

Unimog U400
Our Unimog U400 carries a front mounted 8 inch chipper that feeds into a 6 cubic meter enclosed chipbox, this keeps the site as clean as possible whilst working. The built in tool box and lockers carry all necessary tools for a crew of 2. Unlike our U500, the U400 is more focused on towing capabilities. Equipped with multiple hitches to get Equipment to site and arising away from towing 3.5ton plant trailers, or hook up the 12 ton multi purpose trailer to load up large trunks of wood that need removing from site. Also used for moving split logs, wood chip and equipment. the u400 is capable of pulling trailers up to 22ton and retain ability to chip waste achieving more with a single vehicle minimizing emissions. This unit also has high output hydraulic services for running mowers and other equipment. all powered buy a 240hp euro 4 power plant.

Tracked Machines
We have also invested in a few tracked machines for both accessing and relief of manual labour amongst other purposes that we believe brings good value to our service
JIbbi 1250 evo
We understand that our lorries may not get to every worksite but our Jibbi just might. It is a self propelled self levelling up to 25 degrees tracked platform with a reach of 12.5M vertical and 6m horizontal. with the ability to shrink down the width to 1.2m, it can squeeze through gateways, alleys and other narrow access points to safely reach trees/hedges otherwise unreachable by vehicle. The dynamic levelling system on this machine combined with the 2m x 2m tracked base allows us to track the machine whilst elevated to a height of 8m adds a whole new dimension of capability’s making the clearing of multiple targets, like lifting boundary’s or clearing telecom lines far more efficient removing the need to stow, lift legs, transport and re-stabilize for the next target. It is impressive where you can get with this machine, the dynamic safety system is scaling meaning with the tracks at the narrowest ,the machine will still allow work at height, although reduced. the jibbi has a smaller foot print than any boom type m.e.w.p allowing it to set up where other vehicle mount or tracked m.e.w.p’s cannot.

Norcar 4t
We also have two tracked loader machines, 1.5M wide and with 4 large individual tracks that reduce the ground pressure. the system protects the ground from lasting damage, also lets the machine move across land which could even be a challenge to walk across. for example wet, boggy marshland and water meadows. The rubber track system typically operates at extremely low ground bearing pressures of between 2-4psi. with articulating steering without tearing and rutting up the soil surface. this lessens compaction and disturbance of the sub soil. This drastically reduces the environmental impact of the operations as against wheeled version or a fixed tracked machine. Used prominently as a loader, getting those heavy pieces of timber onto the trailer or retrieving brush from hard to access places to process with the chippers.
We also use a multitude of different powered or unpowered implements which attach to the front in a matter of seconds. Varying from shovels, sweeping brush, flail mowers. lifting jibs, forks, log grabs, pole manipulators, augers, and even small tree felling heads. This machine has a use in every sector of our business, also available for operated hire.
powered buy a 45hp kabota provides 65 lpm hydraulic flow, with services to front and rear. 1500kg capacity with ballast weight. 4t track system provides low ground pressure as little as 2 psi with increased traction, stability and lifting height of 3.6m.

hear we are using 2m sweeping brush clearing weeds and debris from neglected block paved car park. this is only one of many operations we utilized the machine for wile on operated hire for a fellow tree contractor on this site.
our specialized equipment on operated hire. accurately placing a 9m utility pole in a pre -augered hole. manipulating it under cables and close behind existing condemned pole for easy change over. after transporting the pole over two fields and a water meadow to access site.
